Universal 80SB-2 is a 1/14 chromium 2 molybdenum alloy designed for welding similar composition alloys used primarily in the process industries in steam piping systems and pressure vessels. Weld deposits require preheat and postweld heat treatments in order to exhibit optimum physical properties.
